The cast and crew of Emmerdale say goodbye to Danny Miller

The 21-year-old actor has been involved in some of the soap’s most dramatic storylines since he arrived in the Dales over 3 years ago.

And as he prepares to bid farewell to the role that saw him win several awards and hit the headlines for his acting skills, his fellow cast members and crew have decided to say goodbye in their own special way.

Miller was surprised at his leaving do when they screened a spoof video that sees Adam Thomas (Adam Barton) rap along to Written in the Stars, by Tinie Tempah, while Kelvin Fletcher (Andy Sugden) dons an afro to play the keyboard, shirtless.

Members of the Emmerdale team also don tracksuits like Miller’s character Aaron Livesy and swab themselves with tearsticks in reference to his numerous emotional plotlines.

Miller wrapped up filming on the soap last week and as he left the set for the last time he tweeted: “Can’t explain the emotions i feel at the moment!

He added: “It’s been a pleasure to play Aaron and I love you all for taking the character on and loving his storylines. Thank you so much for your support for me the last 4 years!

Miller has teased that Aaron’s departure from Emmerdale will be “amazing“, but “heartbreaking for some people“.

His final episode is due to air on April 5.

Another one bites the dust! Sinitta becomes second casualty of I’m A Celebrity as she takes the walk of shame

Sinitta has become the second victim of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Fortunately she avoided the embarrassment of being eliminated first; with that blow dealt to Stefanie Powers last night, despite her melodramatic squealing during three trials and the cockroach filled cave, viewers opted to send her home.

As Ant and Dec went into the camp, Pat Sharp was the first to be saved before Jessica-Jane Clement’s name was called second.

Sinitta was then told it might be her, before Dougie Poynter, Lorraine Chase, Willie Carson, Emily Scott, Mark Wright, Fatima Whitbread and Antony Cotton were all told they’d be staying.

As Crissy Rock was the final name left, she battled the former popstar in the bottom two – but the 43-year-old was sent home as the Benidorm actress, 53, was saved.

Talking to the Geordie presenters, Sinitta said: “Amazing, I sort of knew. To leave when I actually started to love it is a great feeling. I wanted to face my fears and not be afraid of everything.

Speaking of her now infamous night in the cockroach filled cave, in which she stood vertical for three hours to avoid the creepy crawlies, she said: “It did feel like a long time.

She even praised Pat, who had to sleep next to her, saying: “He was so sweet, whenever I screamed, he’d say,It’s nothing“. It was the longest night of his life.

He wants to win, he’s not afraid of anything. He doesn’t really understand people’s deep-rooted fears.

When she was quizzed about faking her hysterics, especially during The Department Store task, she denied she was faking.

Simon Cowell’s former flame said: “I’d be a brilliant actress (if I was faking). It’s real, they (my family) find it irritating at home too.

Sinitta added that she would like to see Mark or Crissy go on to be crowned king or queen of the jungle.

Meanwhile, love is still blossoming between Mark and Emily.

The Australian model successfully completed the latest Bushtucker Trial, Coral Grief, in which she scored a maximum of 11 meals for her campmates after retrieving stars buried in a giant tank.

When she returned to the camp, the former TOWIE star offered her a congratulatory back rub.

Confirmed: Goldie Cheung quits X Factor

xFactor - Goldie Cheung

The X Factor’s Goldie Cheung has pulled out of the show despite getting though to the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition.

Her withdrawal means another wannabe will be thrown a lifeline; they’ll replace her in the Over 25s group mentored by Louis Walsh.

Goldie Cheung said: “The X Factor has been a fantastic experience and very challenging for me at times. I was very grateful to Louis for offering me a place in the final.

She added: “However, I have decided to withdraw from the competition because I knew I would miss my family so much. I wish all the finalists the best of luck and look forward to watching them every week.

Hong Kong-born Goldie made a name for herself in the first episode of this series, she was filmed being sick as she struggled to overcome her nerves she then took to the stage and gave a truly eccentric performance that ended with her wrapping herself around Gary Barlow.

During bootcamp, she targeted the Take That star again, chasing him around Wembley Arena.

Goldie made an impression from her very first appearance on X Factor when she puked into a bag before stepping on stage. She gyrated to a song called Copper Bell (that no one had heard of), before launching into a rendition of Tina Turner’s version of Proud Mary.

Louis Walsh said: “It was such a shame Goldie had to pull out of the competition. I thought she had great potential to entertain viewers in the live shows.” He continued: “But it has given someone else an amazing opportunity and although it was a hard decision of who to replace her with, I am pleased with my choice.

Of course it could be argued that Goldie shouldn’t have been voted into bootcamp in the first place due to her awful singing she was, however, very good entertainment. But should that have been enough? What do you think? Are you sorry to see Goldie Cheung leave X Factor?
